ENJOY A GREAT SOCIAL LIFE WITH AFTER WORK
After Work is Sydney’s fastest growing and most active social club for business people. The Club is an excellent way to make new friends while enjoying a huge variety of activities.
Since After Work was started in 1999 we’ve signed up over 2,000 members and held some 4,500 events. We’ve done a huge range of activities including: drinks evenings, restaurant nights, weekend walks, parties, overseas holidays, excursions, theatre and opera trips and sports.
Among the highlights have been formal balls, wine tasting trips to the Hunter Valley and Mudgee, the Bridge Climb, trips to South America, China, Egypt, Turkey and Tasmania, canoeing on the Upper Murray River, skiing holidays in the Snowy Mountains, murder mystery dinners and weekends in Barrington Tops, Byron Bay, Tamworth and the Blue Mountains.
No other social club in Sydney offers our range and number of activities. Events in our programme include our international cuisine dineouts, walks, trivia, social tennis, overseas travel, concerts, drinks nights in the CBD and The Rocks and much much more.
The reason why we can offer so much is because the Club is run by our members. Once you join, if there’s an activity you want to do you can advertise it in the monthly programme. Most members prefer just to come to the events but if you want to get active you get a discount for every event you organise. Discounts are also given for introducing friends to the Club. This reward scheme means that many of our members enjoy half-price or even free membership.
We average around 25 events a month and most of these events are either free or done at cost. To come to our events you must first join the Club. We offer various membership schemes with fees designed to meet every budget.
If you want to try out an event before joining you’re welcome to come to our City Drinks Night which we hold every Wednesday from 6.30pm - 9pm in the Gallery Bar on the first floor of the Amora Hotel Jamison, 11 Jamison St, near Wynyard Station.
